Christmas in New Jersey! (Part 1)

We spent our first week at my family's house in New Jersey. Katherine was home from college, Dave flew in and then a few days later, Jonathan and Julie flew in too. It had been a year and a half since we'd all been together. We had a great time!

Blake looking so perfectly cute. Definitely the best photo taken the whole trip. (Good job Brian!)

Kath and mom bought him this Santa suit. You're right, it did fit. :) Katherine loves being an auntie!Natalie enjoying all of Grandma's cupboards. Dave, Shelley and Uncle Ray stopped through--it was so great to see you guys! Brian, Jen, Mom and Blake, Katherine, Dad and Natalie
Grandma has been collecting toys at garage many new things to play with!

We made Buckeye Balls for the family, using Bri's mom's recipe. We decided that's the best one.

Brian is an excellent dipper. So patient. :) This is what they're supposed to look like. I think he's been recruited to make them every year!
Playing some Christmas carols with Aunt Katherine
Feeding Pooh a marshmallow snack. Ready to eat one of mom's delicious meals. Yum!
"Uncle Dave, please don't eat me!"
Enjoying having wireless connection in the house thanks to the Gordon's visit. Blake's sporting the hat Jess knitted for him and sent to us in NJ. Thanks! :)
My parent's town has a neat tradition of lighting luminaries on Christmas Eve. Most people participate and so all of the streets are lit up all night. (The candles were still burning when we woke up Christmas day! So pretty!) Helping Daddy (with her new hat too. They were perfect!)Mom cooking up something great!
After the Christmas Eve service, we goofed around taking family pictures. If you can believe it, this was the best one! Hard to get everyone to look good all at the same time.

Let's get some sleep... tomorrow's Christmas! :)

Well... it took me long enough just to do these... I need a little break. Check back for more later! :)

Great to see your family's pictures. I promise my blog spot will be ready sometime soon. It has been so hard getting time in while my two are napping. I know how hard it is to try to get family pictures with a baby and toddler!!! It is impossible to get a really really good one. Your Christmas card is on the way or already there.....don't know how long it takes. I can't wait to see you guys again and have our kids play together. They would absolutely love it. I wish we were in Hawaii right now. Take care.
