Memorial Day Weekend

Sorry it's been awhile getting these pictures up... I hurt my back pretty badly last week and had to go to the ER. So this week I've either been on the couch in pain or else pretty drugged up from the pain meds. I finally got to see the dr again today and he referred me to a Physical Therapist next week. They're thinking it might have something to do with the scoliosis I have and possibly uneven leg length, combined with the pregnancy hormones that loosen things, etc, etc. I'll find out more on Monday but I'm excited to finally get some answers because this has kind been ongoing for awhile now. Brian has been wonderful with the kids and meals and taking care of me and the house--he even cleaned the bathrooms and mopped the floors! What a guy! :)

Anyway, on to pictures from when we went down to Brian's family for Memorial Day Weekend.

We had a Pampered Chef show with some of Linda and Bethany's friends. It was a lot of fun!

Aunt Bethany with Evan

During the show, the guys took to the kids to Sears to buy Grandpa his air compressor. The box provided lots of fun! :) We went down the creek in their backyard to try out Grandpa's invention, a board tied to an inner tube. Natalie and Blake loved it!

It poured rain on the way back home and we all got soaking wet... after we dried off, we had yummy pizza.
Memorial Day: all dressed in red!

Brian's Aunt Barb and Uncle Calvin came over for the day.

Not sure if she looks more like an elf or an alien??

Everyone went down to the creek to watch Uncle Calvin fish. The kids loved watching him fillet the fish when he came back up to the house.

Silly girl!

Melinda came over with her girls Alayna and Kierstyn to take care of me the first day when I was on my meds and Brian was gone. Thanks! :)

I love these pictures of Natalie talking with Evan:

She's been working on writing her name lately. Still working on the lower case "a" :)

Have a great weekend everybody! :)

Awww, I'm so sorry to hear you hurt your back. Good thing you're blessed with a good man to take care of you! Wish I was there here to help, but I'll be praying for you.
Love ya,
Jess

Hope your back gets better. I pulled my back around Easter time when I was visiting my parents. I was lifting Brayden out of the pack and play and really did it to my back!! I couldn't move for days! I know how that feels. I was lucky I was home to have my mom take care of the kids for me. Hope you feel better real soon. I still need to call you sometime. The movers get here July 8th.
