Ten Days

Evan has been with us for 10 days now! He is a great baby so far and seems to change a little bit each day. Natalie and Blake love him and are eager to help--and eager for my attention although they're getting better. :) My mom was here all week and is coming back for a few days this week too. We've really appreciated the help!--Thanks so much Mom! Making a Thank You card for our neighbor that watched the kids the morning we went into the hospital.

Blake enjoying his meals!!

Big sister Natalie And Big brother BlakeShe climbed into his lap saying she wanted him to hold her like a baby. She stayed there for a long time and he just completely ignored her--you can see he's trying to watch the TV. It was pretty cute.
Every day he opens his eyes more and more.Valentine Jello Cups...yummy!

Going for a ride Grandma bought Natalie a baby doll that cries and laughs and sleeps. You have to put the bottle or pacifier in it's mouth to make it stop crying and go to sleep. She loves taking care of it and takes it with her wherever she goes. What a good mommy.

Not sure what this expression means... ??

Setting up for Valentine's Day
The kids loved opening all their cards and eating candy at breakfast.
Just like with Natalie and Blake, I don't have milk to nurse Evan. I knew that it would probably happen again and you'd think that I'd be over all the emotions and sadness about it with this being the third time, but it's still really hard for me to not be able to provide for my baby. I know that Brian and my mom and others enjoy getting to feed him so I'm trying to look at all the positives... I'll be okay, I guess I'm just still a little hormonal... :)

Natalie taking a nap on our bed one day... some things never change. :)Grandma's delicious Italian Cream Cake
Brian bought me roses for Valentine's Day. So beautiful.
He also bought this ring and gave it to me in the hospital after Evan was born. Kinda hard to see but it's three rings connected with each of the kid's names on it. I love it! Thank you honey!
First sponge bath at home-he loved it. We have yet to take a good one of all 5 of us... here's 4!

Until next time...

So precious! I am beyond impressed that you did such a wonderful job celebrating V-Day. You were destined to be a mom!! Also, LOVE the ring. Where did he get that? How are you doing?? The feelings about not being able to nurse your baby are totally normal. I don't think that changes no matter how many babie you have.

I totally understand about the breastfeeding. I was an emotional mess with both of mine. It was more of a frustration than anything. I tried so hard with Brayden I ended up putting him in the hospital at two months because he only gained 13 oz since birth. It was really hard. And the lactation consultant kept telling me I was doing fine.....won't believe them again! Good to see some great pictures.

Love looking at your blog because the love you have for your husband and children always shines through! There's nothing like the joy of family! So happy for you! I loved your ring, too! Do you think I could wear one with 11 rings attached? I couldn't bend my finger!
